Boston PD is in the news again for seeing terrorists in innocent objects. Aside from blowing up Cartoon Network advertising and blowing up their own highway department’s traffic counters they seem like a normal police department. Apparently it is illegal to wear stereo wires in Boston. 21-year old Joe Previtera was arrested by the Boston PD and charged with two felonies. He did not make any mention of a bomb, but for some silly reason they charged him with “false report of the location of explosives” and a “hoax device”. I have no idea what idiots are running the Boston PD, but they are the danger to America, not people like Previtera. Sure, he’s free to do all the anti-war protests or whatever he wants to and hopefully without harassment.

So if Previtera didn’t mention a bomb, what exactly constitutes a bomb threat? “It can be implied, with fingers and wires — especially in a heightened state of alert, as we are,” says Officer Michael McCarthy, Boston Police Department spokesman. And McCarthy thinks this is common knowledge, even if the wires are accessories to a costume.

“If he has any questions as to why people think he may’ve had a bomb, then he needs to maybe go back to Boston College to brush up on his public policy. Or at least common sense, but they can’t really teach that there.”

Officer McCarthy needs to get a dose of common sense. I have no idea of what heightened state of alert we are in. The terror alert is Yellow, not Orange or Red. It is always going to be yellow. It is never going to go down. What class do they teach this stuff in at Boston College? I never remember taking any class where we talked about public policy and bomb threats. This shows that Mr. McCarthy is not only an idiot and an ass, but he’s also useless. He could at least inform the public what class we need to take at Boston College to become part of the new world order.

I would never think that having wires as part of a costume would be an implied bomb threat. This is just an excuse to harass innocent citizens and easily throw felonies around as a deterrent if you step out of line. Does this mean that if the police see your iPod headphones you are making a bomb threat? Be afraid if you live in Boston or travel there.

Comedians and shock jocks of the world, you had better watch out. The Vatican has said comedy is terrorism.

The Vatican’s official newspaper accused an Italian comedian on Wednesday of “terrorism” for criticizing the Pope and warned his rhetoric could fuel a return to 1970s-style political violence.

“This, too, is terrorism. It’s terrorism to launch attacks on the Church,” it said. “It’s terrorism to stoke blind and irrational rage against someone who always speaks in the name of love, love for life and love for man.”

It is official that making jokes about the Church is now being on the wrong side of the War on Terror. Apparently it isn’t safe to make jokes about anyone these days. Not only can you get fired or suspended from your day job at CBS, your soul will be condemned to hell, and “W” will launch a “regime change” against your household.

This is really amusing. Jihad Watch is reporting that children from Honley Church of England Junior School were set to perform the Three Little Pigs, but the event was called off for fear of upsetting Muslims. The story is now the Three Little Puppies.

Silly Christians! Dogs are worse than pigs to Muslims and to consume them is to burn in hell.

Pig and dog are two such Najis animals that every part of their body is Najis. Even those bloodless parts like hair and claws or hooves are Najis. To slaughter a pig or dog is a useless act. That is, these animals cannot be purified in any way. To consume their flesh is haraam and a greater sin.

I guess this means Muslims must hate Vietnamese since we eat little puppies like the big bad wolf in the story.

A big mess is brewing in the UK. Muslim men are forcing teenaged girls to convert to the religion of suicide bombing. One good thing is that the police are doing something about it and they’re trying to protect the victims.

Police are working with universities to clamp down on “aggressive conversions” during which girls are beaten up and forced to abandon university courses.

The Hindu Forum of Britain claims hundreds of mostly Sikh and Hindu girls have been intimidated by Muslim men who take them out on dates before terrorizing them until they convert.

This is a terrifying development. Large portions of the Muslim population in some European countries want Sharia in Muslim communities. This is a cover for the subjugation of all western women. In the United States this would be no different than stalking and recruiting for gangs. The only difference is these gangs are Muslim gangs. What is going to happen when people are forced to convert and then they escape from their tormentors and renounce Islam? They will be hunted and executed in the name of Allah.

This serves as further proof that the country made a good decision by not electing John Kerry or anyone from Massachusetts. Boston residents caused a panic by reporting an advertising campaign from Turner Broadcasting / Cartoon Network as a bomb threat. I am convinced that everyone in Massachusetts has had their brain freeze over at some point. Even the mayor of Boston displays how much of a hater he is.

“It is outrageous, in a post 9/11 world, that a company would use this type of marketing scheme,” Mayor Thomas Menino said. “I am prepared to take any and all legal action against Turner Broadcasting and its affiliates for any and all expenses incurred during the response to today’s incidents.”

According to the AP article the advertising campaign was running in Boston, NY, LA, Atlanta, Chicago, Portland, Austin, San Francisco, Seattle, and Philadelphia. So how is it that 9 cities don’t think anything of it?

Since statistically it seems unlikely that the combined population of 9 other cities did not report this as a threat does the mayor plan to pursue those who called in a *false* bomb scare? Has the mayor’s office investigated the possibility that this incident was reported with malicious intent?

“Everyone can play a part by holding Turner Broadcasting to account for today’s events,” Suffolk District Attorney Daniel Conley said. “Viewers, advertisers, license holders, can and should make clear to them this sort of behavior is reckless, irresponsible and illegal.”

Hey, Mr. Conley, why don’t you investigate the initial report. We have decided to be fair and give his office an opportunity to respond to our questions.

According to the same AP news article 9 other cities had the promotion for 2-3 weeks. Since, statistically, it seems unlikely that the combined population of 9 other cities did not report this as a threat does the DA’s office plan to pursue those who called in a *false* bomb scare? Has the DA’s office investigated the possibility that this incident was reported with malicious intent to tie up the resources of city authorities?

We would also like to know how advertising in and of itself is reckless, irresponsible, and illegal in Boston but it is not in the 9 other cities mentioned in the AP news article.

I was reading what was written at PeachPundit about John Cornetta’s Love Shack in John’s Creek. Commenter Erick mentioned that the Talibaptists should take pictures of people shopping at the Love Shack and post them online. Well, turnabout is fair play! I think it’s time that those interested in liberty and capitalism start to catalog the threats to America in our own back yard. Religious fundamentalism is a major threat to liberty in this country. It doesn’t matter if the fundamentalists are Islamic or Christian they are standing against the American way of life. In the interest of protecting America I will be stopping by and taking pictures of the protesters taking pictures if they decide to show like they did in Peachtree Corners. I am sure the Department of Homeland Security would want to add them to the watch list of suspected terrorists. If vegetarian protesters in front of Honey Baked Ham are terrorists, then surely religious protesters are terrorists.

In earlier posts from my Windows Mobile device I had noted that The Love Shack in John’s Creek will be staying open. Previously a judge had issued orders that could hold the owner, John Cornetta, in contempt if he opened with a “substantial” amount of adult material. Late last night The Love Shack began to make changes to its inventory and it was expected that today it would be in compliance with the judge’s orders by the 3pm deadline. GRIFTDRIF has a really nice bit of coverage as to how the whole event unfolded today. I also went to see what all the fuss was about by the politicians and anti-capitalist community of John’s Creek. The store had some adult items, but it was mainly a tobacco shop (with some fairly nice cigars I might add) and he even sells comic books. The community is upset because someone is making money off tobacco and Spider Man. Brilliant! Let’s call out the attorneys because this guy selling Spider Man comics might corrupt our community, never mind the liquor store next door.

I’m sure the right wing nut jobs were expecting people to be hauled away in hand cuffs and to have a big padlock on the front door. No such luck for the Christian Taliban on this day. Cornetta was able to reduce the amount of adult inventory at his store to around 5% which is less than the 25% he was required to comply with. I am sure most of the people of John’s Creek are nice but the protestors that arrived were not prepared to answer any hard questions and only could repeat their puritanical babble about how their community values are important.

I asked a group of protestors if they felt that shutting down a business was sending the wrong message to immigrants from Communist countries who come to America to start their own business and contribute to our grand capitalistic system. I held out the microphone and asked if anyone wanted to answer the question. Nada, Nope, Không, Non, No! Nobody wanted to debate the issue of the death of true capitalism in America in favor of community values. Instead I heard about the legality of the store’s operation with respect to zoning.

One thing the hillbillies in the North Georgia mountains have down is true free market capitalism. There are a few communities left in North Georgia, and I would have to assume quite a few in South Georgia that do not have zoning or licensing. If you want to turn your property into a junk yard you are free to do so. Your neighbors can not stop you and the only recourse to buy more property so you don’t have to see your neighbor’s land. There is no licensing of professionals. Anyone can call themselves a carpenter and have no training. There is no building code either. If you want your house or business built to a certain specification then you include that in your contract otherwise you’ll get cheap and shoddy. Caveat Emptor! There is nothing wrong with cheap and shoddy. I know one reporter for a station in Atlanta who says he will take lower quality if it means a lower price. Good philosophy to have, especially if it is a disposable asset. Houses burn or rot, but the land is forever.

Next, I asked a few people if the city of John’s Creek would pay the wages of the employees of The Love Shack if the store is closed. That brought some puzzled looks. My argument is in a free market society people can choose their occupation. In the society of John’s Creek the Christian Taliban is attempting to use their political clout to put cashiers and stock clerks out of work. If the government prohibits you from working then the government should provide you with compensation. It’s a simple concept that these people refused to grasp. None of the prudes of John’s Creek wanted to discuss the issue of their willful destruction of the free market system and the inevitable swing to communism or its effects on immigrant minorities from communist countries.

It was interesting speaking to reporters from the AJC. One good fellow wanted to know if I felt that the community would be hurt by The Love Shack opening. I have lived in areas where Cornetta has opened stores. The prestigious Peachtree Corners area of Gwinnett was one of them. There were the same protests arguing the neighborhood would go downhill if an adult shop were to open in our quiet community. Bull! Peachtree Corners is one of the few areas of South Gwinnett that is experiencing immense growth in property values. I never stepped out of my gated community, like so many in Peachtree Corners, to see the world of Mad Max outside the gates where barbarians in funny leather outfits try to rob and kill you. The other simple mathematical argument that property values will not go down if an adult store opens in your neighborhood is that we, as a species, continue to grow in population size; however, there isn’t any new real estate available. Unless we have a pandemic or a major war property values will go up on a constant growth curve. The other problem is that Caucasians and Blacks in America do not look at building wealth over generations. I’m not concerned with my property value during my lifetime. Property values are only important when you sell and a wealthy dynasty is not built by the constant selling of assets from generation to generation.

The other side of the issue is that The Love Shack is going to generate tax revenue for the new city. If the store does not stay open then the citizens of John’s Creek will have to absorb the loss of revenue themselves. If you believe that the store will cause a loss of property tax value from the surrounding area greater than the revenue it brings to the city you are succumbing to the fear mongering of the Talibaptists. In the preceding paragraph it becomes evident that values will constantly go up as time moves on. If you have fear of short term drops in value you should be more afraid of the housing bubble bursting than some business moving into your community and devaluing your property. Your children will benefit, though you may not live long enough to see that day unless we make great breakthroughs in medical science.

Another concern I have is the Talibanization of Christians in the US when it comes to issues such as these. America is about capitalism and freedom, not forcing your moral values on your neighbor. Some people may consider John Cornetta a smut peddler; however, he is a champion of freedom and a vital ally in The War on Terror. How so? In my article featured at IBLOGA I was able to determine that the enemies of the US love porn. Read the article to understand how we can use porn to westernize the terrorists and the population of those countries. The Christians in this country are attempting to impose their own version of Sharia law on our capitalist system. One can argue that the people of John’s Creek are supporting the vision that Al Qaeda and the Taliban have for our society. I won’t say they’re on the wrong side of the War on Terror, but they aren’t helping. They need to get with the picture and remember what America is all about.

At the end of the day John Cornetta was able to give his victory speech to our camera, the Talibaptists were shut out, and Communism was held at bay for another day until the next court battle.

Middle Eastern terrorists are all the rage these days. They get all of the press attention and for good reason. There is; however, another group of terrorists out there. These are right wing Christian religious terrorists that blow up buildings in the name of God.

Since 1977, casualties from this war include seven murders, 17 attempted murders, three kidnappings, 152 assaults, 305 completed or attempted bombings and arsons, 375 invasions, 482 stalking incidents, 380 death threats, 618 bomb threats, 100 acid attacks, and 1,254 acts of vandalism, according to the National Abortion Federation.

We should not forget that terrorists despise freedom. Christian Taliban believe that their religion is the central force in the universe and that women should submit to the will of God. But being religious nut jobs they are none too bright.

After 9/11, Planned Parenthood and other abortion rights groups received 554 envelopes containing white powder and messages like: “You have been exposed to anthrax. … We are going to kill all of you.” They were signed by the Army of God

So, you’re going to mail anthrax to a clinic where there are pregnant women? Way to go Jimbo! I’m guessing if the pregnant woman were to die that would make you a baby killer, no different than a doctor performing an abortion or a drunk driver running down a pregnant mother. I never thought that Army of God could be responsible for promoting infanticide, but guess again! This must mean that the Christian Right must be angry at the abortion doctors for beating them to the kill. They don’t even have the decency to blow themselves up in Muslim neighborhoods which must also mean they’re against us in the War on Terror.
