Sorry to hear you don't have a sense of humor Suzy. Anything is fair game for humor. That is why parody enjoys special protection under American law. Is there a reason one can not make fun of their own race or others in jest? Think of how you would say that to Carlos Mencia or Dave Chappelle since they make money by doing just that. Obviously it must be somewhat acceptable otherwise we would not have built an industry around that form of comedy.

I'm sure there is bigotry out there, but I don't hang out with Skinheads and Klansmen. They're free to go do their thing, provided it does not infringe on my life, liberty, or the pursuit of happiness. Since I don't hang out with the Klan or Skins I'm not that concerned with getting their respect. There are millions of people in this country I don't hang out with and do I really care what they think of my race, occupation, income, or religion? Probably not since I'm never going to meet all of them.

I think you are attempting to gain acceptance from all whites, blacks, latinos, etc. Do you really want to be respected as that Asian, black, white, latina, etc. girl or as Suzy?

You can please some of the people all the time or all of the people some of the time. My white, black, and latino friends accept each other, as individuals. I think the point is that if you work hard, go to school, and lift yourself up you will find friends that respect you for who you are.

what planet are you from?? racism is the root of America and it doesn't end there. It's not meant to be joked with, it's not mean to be made fun of, and most of all Asians are just as human as any other race who don't want to be stomped on. maybe you never experienced racism or maybe you're just ignorant of the fact that it exist but however u grew up, u were just lucky. Maybe all the white people in your neighborhood put on a good facade for you and u never had to see their true racist face. But, you need to wake up and smell the darn coffee brother because racism is as plain to the eye as the sky.

I walked into the belly of the beast, myself. I found the time constraint slightly unnerving, but I did well, because I stayed away from their talking points and stuck to mine. At first, I found William Lee respectfully of the idea of an open forum for honest debate, but the ultimate compliment was paid to me, when my opponent read one of my almost 150 posts from the Doghouse forums. Why is this a compliment, because they cheated and I still didn't give them what they wanted. I addressed their tactics, and they avoided the issue, just read from a script.
