Fido Allah’s Worst Enemy

August 24th, 2006 by Quan Tranh

The good folks over at Infidel Bloggers Alliance have blogged a story about how Islam is no friend of man’s best friend.  I’m deeply amused by the fact that Muslims are uncomfortable with Western love of domestic animals.  Supposedly they are disgusted by the sight of Westerners petting dogs on TV.  I would have to assume that they hate Vietnamese people just as well since we EAT dogs.  Dog and pork are haraam in an Islamic diet which means Islam must hate Vietnam and its culture.

Tree hugging liberals should take note of this.  If you’re a member of PETA, ALF, or any other organization that believes in animal rights you should be deciding if you truly want to sit on the sidelines of the War on Terror.  If you do and the wrong side wins, there will be no animal rights for our friends.

Consumer Reports = Evil

August 19th, 2006 by Quan Tranh

The Red Tape Chronicles is covering a story where Consumer Reports sponsored a throw down of Anti-Virus programs.  Consumer Reports is coming under fire from the anti-virus industry for writing viruses to test off the shelf software with.  The issue is that anti-virus programs only detect known viruses with any degree of reliability.  The general public typically does not understand this minor detail. They do detect new viruses using heuristics and other methods, but this method is not fully reliable.  To establish a baseline Consumer Reports had an independent security firm create 5500 new viruses to test with.

Antivirus Webzine Virus Bulletin whined the loudest as a result.

The antivirus community has always been very strongly opposed to the creation of new malware for any purpose,” wrote John Hawes, the technical consultant at antivirus Webzine Virus Bulletin. “There’s just no need for it. Plenty of new viruses are being written all the time, why would anyone in a responsible position want to add to the glut?”

Obviously Mr. Hawes does not know anything about the scientific method and controlled experiments.  Sure there are new viruses already out there, but if you don’t know they exist how do you know the software is effectively protecting the computer?

The antivirus industry has been very concerned with keeping their art a mystery.  Anyone who creates new viruses for any reason is considered bad for the industry.  One does not have to look too far to see that the antivirus companies are protecting their own interests.  One case that made headlines a few years ago was University of Calgary in Canada began teaching a course on viruses to their computer science students. The basis of the class is to write viruses and then write antivirus software to catch the work of your classmates.  Personally I would consider it no different than teaching lock picking to a class that will be designing the locks of the future.  You have to know all the techniques the bad guys use in order to craft an appropriate counter measure.

The Calgary program created quite a controversy with many US security software companies stating that they would not hire anyone who graduated from the university with a computer science degree since it would mean they have written viruses, never mind the context.  I find this viewpoint hypocritical at the very least.  It is well know that many security companies hire former black hat hackers.  The technicality is if you’ve never been convicted, nobody can prove that you are a criminal hacker and by virtue of turning away from “the dark side” you are now a good guy.  They don’t teach hacking in college so the only experience IT Security professionals are going to get is hacking or through an internship or mentorship program.

Consumer Reports is being roasted for the same reason.  If antivirus software were any good it would prevent all viruses, not just the known ones.  But McAfee and Symantec, plus a whole host of better solutions would not be able to charge a yearly subscription fee as easily if you didn’t constantly need their updates.  With organized crime and the jihad getting on board with hacking and virus writing I believe Consumer Reports is on target with their tests.  Profit is what motivates us, but a little innovation to provide consumers with better protection and the retirement of old and out dated business models would greatly enhance security.  McAfee and the antivirus industry are not putting virus prevention at the top of their priority list.

Gallup Poll 2 out of 5 Want ID for Muslims

August 12th, 2006 by Quan Tranh

Muslims are not very popular in this country. 49% of Americans surveyed think that Muslims are not loyal to the US. Interestingly enough 4 out of 10 want special ID for Muslims. Perhaps a male burka as pictured below with a crescent or a cartoon picture of the prophet Mohammad would do as an identifying mark.

Senate Ratifies Cybercrime Treaty – Sells US down River

August 5th, 2006 by Quan Tranh

For god’s sake people, it’s for the children! We have to catch internet pedophiles to protect the children! How many times have you heard that to justify the loss of freedom? Well folks, it has happened again. The Senate has ratified the Convention on Cybercrime and flushed our privacy down the toilet. This treaty forces the US to cooperate with foreign law enforcement in cases where the law is broken in a foreign country. In short this means the FBI can now spy on you without a warrant if you do something on the Internet that some foreign government doesn’t like.

Are you a Chinese person critical of China’s government? You had better not go on vacation to China because you may be on a watch list when you arrive. Germany has been doing this for over a decade with Neo-Nazis. If you’re a US citizen and you have swastikas on your US hosted web site you will in all likelihood be arrested if you get off the plane in Germany. Yes, you will probably find yourself on a watch list and be placed in jail because someone in Germany can see your swastikas never mind the 1st Amendment legally allows you to express yourself
Don’t think this applies to Nazis either. David Carruthers is an executive at BetOnSports in the UK. He was arrested while passing through the US for illegal gambling charges. His final destination was not the US. The plane was in US air space and they nabbed him for something that is totally legal in the UK where he lives and works. The US justification? Americans can illegally bet on UK sports, so naturally we have to shut down that website and throw its owners in jail.
Fellow Infidels, consider what happens if the EU passes their law making it illegal to say anything about Islam. Sure you can’t be arrested in the US for your online antics, but you never know when your employer may have you travel abroad and you may end up getting arrested for something that is perfectly legal on US soil.

News.com has this interesting little tidbit:

An addition to the treaty would require nations to imprison anyone guilty of “insulting publicly, through a computer system” certain groups of people based on characteristics such as race or ethnic origin, a requirement that could make it a crime to e-mail jokes about Polish people or question whether the Holocaust occurred.

Do you still feel safe? What if you say something that insults the Prophet Mohammad or if you make fun of Kim Jung Il’s hair, could you be investigated? According to Declan McCullugh yes you can! And the ACLU has 7 reasons why we should reject the treaty.

Reason number 3 is one of the more troubling.

Under this treaty, American law enforcement would be forced to cooperate with investigations of activities that are illegal abroad but perfectly legal in the U.S. That is because the treaty lacks a “dual criminality” provision that would require an activity to be a crime in both countries before one nation could enlist the police in another to help investigate. The outrageous result: American law enforcement agencies would be forced to cooperate with foreign authorities in conducting surveillance on American citizens who have committed no crime under U.S. law.

Worse, some of those mutual assistance requests will come from countries that have minimal civil liberties protections. The Convention includes not only Council of Europe members like Ukraine and Bulgaria, but will also over time be opened to China and other non-democratic nations – additions that the United States would have no right to veto. And even Western European countries have much different views on civil liberties than the U.S. – the U.K., for example, has much different free speech standards than the U.S. (most notably very broad standards for defamation and libel).

Get used to the idea of foreign powers knowing your business folks and prepare to be beheaded for insulting Islam.

Islam Takes over Paris Beaches

August 5th, 2006 by Quan Tranh

The war on the west continues and our good friends in France have surrendered again.

City hall has issued a decree banning indecent clothing to preserve the tranquility of the sandy beaches created on the banks of the River Seine every summer since 2001.

People must behave according to good standards to maintain tranquility, security and public order,” the decree said, according to Saturday’s edition of Le Parisien. “Notably indecent attire (nude sunbathing, g-strings and toplessness etc) is forbidden.”

According to some friends in the military who have been over there, the Muslim population have been complaining about how immoral western women appear on the beaches. There are areas constructed with artificial walls where muslim women can enjoy the beach in privacy and not run afoul of Islamic law forbidding them to take their burlap bags off their heads in public. Apparently unhappy with their own space, the Islamofascists have now begun to enforce their dress code on our shores.

Unfortunately the solution posed by many politicians and other sources it is recommended that Western families have more children to keep the Islamofascists in the minority at the polls. Honestly I don’t have a good solution except a nice outbreak of H5N1 Flu concentrated in Muslim countries. The more children you have the more difficult it is to make it in the world. Muslims care only about their faith, while westerners and far easterners may have faith, but also care about that piece of the American dream. Everyone wants to own a house and there is a lot of pressure, especially on Asian childern, to be more successful and wealthy than the previous generation.

One way to do this is to have fewer children which allows parents to spend more on private school education all the way up to graduate school for the one child rather than barely putting food on the table while settling for public school and maybe sending the kids to college. Asian famlies new to the US have been doing this for years which is why it’s possible to go from Fresh off the Boat (FOB) to wealthy in a few short generations.

Talk Radio hosts such as Michael Savage are very much against this approach to the point of saying young people aren’t taking on their proper responsibilities, since Infidels are reproducing at a rate much slower than the Jihadists. Are young people today putting us on the road to ruin that the Roman Empire was on? I for one do not want the history books to say that the Islamic Reign of world domination from 2300AD – 3500 AD was caused by western society not taking a break from its work-a-holic ways to have large families like the Muslims. Catholic Latin America continues to have large families and who knows, El Cid may be reborn in South America to fight the Muslim invaders from North America one day.

So what is our solution to the problem of slowly being in the minority and the huge muslim population growth in our countries?

African-American Support for Terrorism

August 5th, 2006 by Quan Tranh

Jessie Jackson

It’s official that Jessee Jackson is against the current administration to the detriment of our standing in the world. He is leading African-Americans down a road that supports terrorism by not supporting the war. Jackson is dedicated to the defeat of Joe Liberman.

At a rally Wednesday evening at the Mount Bethel African Methodist Episcopal church in New Haven, Lamont ally Jesse Jackson denounced Lieberman’s fall-back plan to run as an independent.

“He should play by the rules! Play by the rules!” Jackson intoned in his trademark style as the crowd chanted along with him.

What Jackson is referring to is the fact that Liberman is set to run as an independent if he loses the Democratic Primary. Jackson had the crowd chanting, “Those who play by primary rules should accept primary results!”

Now let’s look at this picture here. In order to run as a 3rd party in most states you need to have a petition signed. Fair enough. The Primaries come before the general election which means it is perfectly acceptable to try in the primary and the general election.  It makes sense for anyone who is concerned with winning to try multiple approaches to that goal.  This says that Jackson’s candidate is not concerned with winning, but is concerned with politics and not the final objective of the game.  Jackson needs to step aside and get an Asian to run the rally if he really wants to support his candidate.

Jackson told the crowd that they must not “support the Iraq war and support Bush and Lieberman,” but must instead “choose to end the war” by electing Lamont, whom he predicted “will be your next U.S. senator.”

Note that ending the war is more important than anything else.  What Jessee Jackson does not understand is that Islam will be the new slave masters.  Women will not be allowed to have rights and men will be locked up unless they grow beards and wear towels on their heads.  Listen up African-Americans, you may think that leaders such as Jackson are on your side, but beware.  These new leaders you have are creating a world where Islamic terrorism will be stronger and where you will be held down by “the man” in the middle east.  My advice is to ignore negative people like Jackson and even those with a positive message like Bill Cosby and create your own destiny.

Chinese Beat Dogs To Death

August 2nd, 2006 by Quan Tranh

This is why you should be glad you don’t live in a communist country.

The five-day massacre in Yunnan province’s Mouding county spared only military guard dogs and police canine units, the Shanghai Daily reported, citing local media.

How would you like to be out walking your dog and just have a cop walk up and beat your dog to death? Freedom is under attack in all corners of the world and China is starting to crop up more than some of the Islamic nations in certain categories. Since it is a communist country I can only assume that this years rice crop isn’t that great so they’re killing citizens dogs and serving them up in soup kitchens. Either that or muslims have invaded the country and dogs are being killed so they can’t be eaten.
