Those crazy towel wearing Taliban are at it again. Now they are going around setting fire to girl’s schools in Afganistan and threatening to cut off the noses and ears of the teachers or students. One student, Nooria, is not afraid and she intends to return to school again.
It’s difficult to really understand what is going on in the heads of the Taliban. One must assume they have wrapped their brains in those towels too tight and cut off the circulation. It’s human nature to be afraid of those who are more powerful than you. Since the Taliban have lost some brain cells we must assume that they feel the need to make girls retarded so they can be on the top of the social order.

Here’s a brilliant waste of police resources. Amy McElhenney, a teacher at Lewisville ISD School, was arrested for having sex with an 18 year old student. Unlike other cases the male student is over the age of consent and an adult to top it all off. McElhenney is looking at 20 years in prison for having consentual sex with an adult. Warren Chisum (R- Pampa TX) introduced legislation in 2003 to make it a crime for a school employee to have sex with an under aged student, but at the last minute added an amendment to make it a class 2 felony to have sex with any student.
This is going too far to say the least and is treading on the liberty of young people. It first started with raising the drinking age, now the government is slowly trying to push more freedoms farther away from young people. Is there a time when we won’t be allowed to grow up and make our own decisions, for better or worse, at age 18? There’s something wrong with the world if it’s illegal for your partner to have sex with you, but where you can go to Iraq and die at the hands of the jihad. I hope Rep. Chisum is happy with his law. This young man is probably going to grow up to be gay because some well meaning politician didn’t want him to have sex with a woman. Way to go Warren! I’m sure people will be calling to congratulate you for a job well done.

Saudi Arabia’s powerful morality police is launching a witch hunt in the birthplace of Islam.
The Authority for the Promotion of Virtue and Prevention of Vice is setting up special centers in all cities to “register complaints on sorcerers and charlatans, track them and terminate them,” the authority’s chief Sheikh Ibrahim bin Abdallah al-Ghaith told al-Madinah newspaper.
Islam forbids magic and practicing it is considered blasphemy.
More proof that the religion of peace is over 800 years behind the western world. We stopped burning our witches in 1782. A bit later than I first thought, but still we’ve ended the practice of executing people for witchcraft. I think these guys need some crystals, a big hug, and a blessing from the Goddess.

I’ve been listening to this story on the radio and TV for the past few days concerning the slaughter of civilians by US Marines. Everyone seems to be out to make the US and the Marines look bad as a result of these rumors. Using logic and the information available I have determined that the rumors are false. First we must look into the culture of the Middle East to understand how it really works over there.
Hani Sabai, Director of the Al-Maqreze Centre for Historical Studies in London was quoted as saying, “The term ‘civilians’ does not exist in Islamic religious law.”
The above quote is commonly used to justify suicide bombings on civilian targets in Israel and in other western countries. To use a simple phrase, the road runs both ways. Muslims are not civilians no matter what the western interpretation, by the decree of their own law. When they are bombing us anyone is a target. Why should we treat them any different than they treat us? As a matter of fact we are treating them in an Islamic fashion if we are killing civilians since every good Muslim is part of the Jihad.
