Italian Minister to Wear Mohammad Shirt

February 15th, 2006 by Quan Tranh

A prominent Italian government figure planned on Wednesday to wear a T-shirt with a cartoon of the Prophet Muhammad.

“I have had T-shirts made with the cartoons that have upset Islam and I shall start wearing them today,” Calderoli told Italian newspapers.

“It is time to put an end to this tale that we need dialogue with these people,” he added.

Another person finally understands that there needs to be some dialogue.  You can’t argue against people like Ayatollah Khomeini who said “…There are no jokes in Islam. There is no humor in Islam. There is no fun in Islam.”  Some people think it’s funny, other’s think it’s free speech and Muslims will never be amused.

February 14th, 2006 by Quan Tranh

In response to the Mohammad works of art, the Israeli’s are having a contest to see who can make the best anti-semitic cartoon.  At least Jews can have a little fun with their religion without blowing themselves up or cutting people’s heads off.

Hack Attacks Ignored

February 13th, 2006 by Quan Tranh

The good people at Counterterrorism Blog are running a report on a Seattle area web hosting customer that was hacked by the e-jihad.  Since the US Government just wrapped up a cyber attack drill it’s understandable that resources are devoted to studying the outcome of the operation.  Still it’s disturbing that there has not been more of a world response to the cyber attacks that are following the Mohammad Cartoon around.  Non-critical hack attacks are not a priority on anyone’s list, except for possible the IT Security community.  With a widescale cyber jihad in progress we need to wake up and realize that if these bored middle eastern hackers attempt something more than vandalism we might have a big problem.  The news media hype that power grids could be taken down by hackers is pretty much hype, but a Denial of Service against infrastructure that people depend on for leisure and convenience could really upset the stock prices of the companies providing the services.

Powdered Sugar Possession A Felony

February 13th, 2006 by Quan Tranh

A 12-year old boy has been charged with a felony for having powdered sugar at school. Sometimes I have to wonder if the police as dumb as the school officials. The Waldo Middle School 6th grader was arrested and charged with possession of a look-a-like drug. WTF is that? Is every Kroger and Safeway guilty of selling a marijuana look-a-like in the spice rack called Oregano? In all fairness to the government officials it appears to be a mistake. Powdered sugar looks like anthrax so the 6th grader should have been charged under the Patriot Act for terrorism, not posession of fake drugs. On the other hand the cops may have been upset that the student absconded with some valueable ingredients that could have been put to use at Dunkin Donuts.

Well I’ve bored you with enough of the details of this Zero-Tolerence mess. Here’s the juicy info.

Palestinian Holocaust?

February 12th, 2006 by Quan Tranh

Mahmoud “LI-LI-LI-LI”Ahmadinjad is running his big mouth again.  Aside from saying Israel should be wiped off the map and that the Jewish holocaust never happened he is now saying that the Palestinians are the real victims.

“If you want to find the real Holocaust, you will find it in Palestine where Zionists kill Palestinians everyday. You will find it in Iraq,” he said

So, let’s see, there’s a train in Israel that runs straight to Germany where Palestinians are shuttled off to camps run by Zionists.  That’s right folks, Auschwitz is back in business and this time Jews are running the gas chambers and putting Arabs in the oven.  Ahmadinjad has discovered the first Holocaust of the 21st century.

Venezuela Protests

February 12th, 2006 by Quan Tranh

Yahoo has photographs of a protest outside the Danish embassy in Venezuela by Muslims.  The caption says it’s the first protest against the Mohammad cartoons in Latin America.  We’ve heard that Venezuela and Iran are getting to be more friendly as time goes on.  Seeing these photographs is almost enough to convince you that these people were paid to protest by Chavez.  How can there be Muslim protesters when we all know that the Spanish world is Catholic?  Nice try President Chavez.

Russia and France Negotiate With Hamas

February 12th, 2006 by Quan Tranh

The suicide bomber party is attempting to work out agreements with France and Russia for economic aid, trade, and other benefits.  It’s a risky gamble to assume that bribing the Palestinian government into not dealing with Iran and other hostile states.  I can understand the desire for economic opportunity and the desire to make the Palestinians dependent on your resources, but there is a chance that they would deal with everybody including Iran.  I’m not convinced that a wait and see attitude is the way to go, but it is a bit early to start courting Hamas.

Like Israel, the U.S. government expressed its amazement with Russian President Vladamir Putin’s invitation to Hamas. A U.S. official asked how Russia would respond to a U.S. invitation for Chechen rebels to visit Washington.

I’m quite sure that Putin would not like it if we were to open talks with the Chechens who have been a thorn in his side for all these years.  One thing for certain is that France and Russia are in it for themselves and not taking the global consequences of their actions into account.  Maybe Denmark should open trade negotiations with the Palestinians.  A pork processing plant could employ hundreds of people.

The Terror of Meth

February 10th, 2006 by Quan Tranh

Meth is now a tool of Jihad. a provision has made it into the new and improved Patriot Act placing nationwide controls on a commonly used allergy medication. This is overkill since most state governments have implemented controls of their own.
