StarForce of Darkness

January 31st, 2006 by Quan Tranh

The fools at StarFore are threatening BoingBoing for no good reason. Dennis Zhidkov, PR Manager for star-force.com obviously has no understanding of American law. He claims that he has contacted the FBI because writing an article about them is harassment. Hello, Mr. Zhidkov! Did you know that we’re really busy with the war on terror and don’t really have time to waste on harassment. Since being annoying is illegal due to the Violence Against Women and Department of Justice Reauthorization Act of 2005 Mr. Zhidkov should turn himself in to the authorities and prepare for a Patriot Act Cavity Search. Because if you’re wasting the FBI’s time you must be with the terrorists. I also want to know if Leiji Matsumoto can sue Star-Force.com for making the Star Force in Star Blazers look like the forces of evil? I think the Star Blazers brand might suffer because of the idiots like Mr. Zhidkov and star-force.com.

Cartoons = Blasphemy

January 30th, 2006 by Quan Tranh

Michelle Malkin was kind enough to post pictures of cartoons run in a Danish newspaper called Jyllands-Posten.  The religion of peace is busy hijacking European buildings in protest of the humor.  Obviously these guys have been listening to the Ayatollah Khomeini who said “…There are no jokes in Islam. There is no humor in Islam. There is no fun in Islam.” The next thing you know Photoshop will be unislamic and Hamas will be bombing Adobe headquarters.
Danish Prime Minister Anders Fogh Rasmussen has refused to bend over as France would.  Everyone should support the  Buy Danish campaign running.  Some Danish Crown hams ( DAK (sold at Sam clubs), baby back ribs would be really great for dinner.  Hell I think the angry Muslims should come over for dinner and experience the good will of Americans who want to feed them pork.

What’s Good For The Goose

January 30th, 2006 by Quan Tranh

News was released today that Diamond Pet Foods was not properly testing for aflatoxin in the dog food they were manufacturing.  Many beloved pets died from the contaminated food.  I wonder if the executives at this company utter the slogan “We eat our own dogfood here”

Pharmacists Need Beating

January 29th, 2006 by Quan Tranh

Four pharmacists in IL are suing Walgreen’s because they were fired for not dispensing the morning after pill.  They allege that being forced to dispense the medication is a violation of the Illinois Health Care Right of Conscience Act, which allows health care providers to opt out of procedures they object to on moral grounds.  Now Walgreen’s does allow pharmacists to not dispense drugs, but they must find another pharmacist who will.  These four were working a night shift and the only ones on duty so they did not have anyone else to fill the prescription.  By refusing to fill the prescription they cost their employer money and thus deserved to be fired.  This is not an pro-choice or pro-life argument.  It’s about 4 people who refused to follow company policy.

Health Czar?

January 26th, 2006 by Quan Tranh

Now we’re getting crazy and congress wants to create a position of Health Czar.   People are suffering from health problems and some have died from complications related to the 9/11 attacks.  The falling world trade centers resulted in glass, concrete, metal, and other debris to be inhaled by many people, including the cleanup crews.  Congressman Vito Fossella thinks that it’s a job for the Federal government to get involved in solving the crisis.

“Their deaths should be a clarion call to the entire Congress and the entire country to once and for all put somebody in charge to help those who need our help,” Fossella said.

This is not a Federal problem but a New York problem.  The people of New York State should be the ones footing the bill for this.  Then again the people of Louisiana should be footing the bill to rebuild New Orleans too.

Inmate guilty of saving tax payer money

January 26th, 2006 by Quan Tranh

CNN.com is running a story on the death of a child molester at the hands of another inmate. The only insanity in this case was that the state was paying to house a child molester.

Bomb Explodes In Iran Blair & Bush Blamed

January 25th, 2006 by Quan Tranh

A bomb went off in Ahvaz Iran wounding 46.  Mahmoud “LI-LI-LI-LI” Ahmadinejad accused the “…occupiers of Iraq” in connection to the blast.  Regardless of reports by the Islamic Republic News Agency, this is more than likely a case of premature detonation by a suicide bomber.  See what happens when you get too excited by jihad.

Google Cache Not Copyright Infringement

January 25th, 2006 by Quan Tranh

At least one court has made a common sense ruling.  The plantiff should have known that he needed to take precautions to prevent other parties from scooping up his content.  Some people want to blame others for their carelessness.  I guess this guy is no different.

Michael Jackson in Veil

January 25th, 2006 by Quan Tranh

Michael Jackson has been seen wearing a veil in the middle east. I guess the Arabs have thrown back to their ancient roots where they were scientists, great inventors, and philosophers. They have done one thing that we westerners have not done. They have determined that Michael is in fact a woman, hence the wearing of the veil. Michael’s desire to live in an Islamic country and embrace their culture is starting to make sense.
